Abstract :
Problems related to the introduction of personal telephones are described, and some possible solutions, several of which are already in existence or capable of being realized in the digital systems being implemented in Europe, North America and Japan are presented. It is concluded that these systems will give a capacity that may satisfy the needs for personal communication
