  • Abstract
    This paper describes the 10 Gbps transimpedance amplifier, driven by -5 V single supply, with automatic gain control circuit for optical overload. The measured results show the excellent performances that are the transimpedance of 63 dB/spl Omega/ (1.4 k/spl Omega/), the bandwidth of 8.0 GHz. When the bit error rate is 10/sup -9/, the minimum sensitivity and the optical overload are -21.2 dBm, +4.3 dBm respectively.
