Abstract
Recently, interest in renewable energy has been driven for aiming at the achievement of the low carbon society. In this paper, the twin type ocean current turbines are adopted as a power generating method. It is supposed that there are several dangerous situations to be predicted in real sea. A computer simulation is utilized to solve them. We simulate these situations. Moreover, we try to confirm the motion of the device by change of the pitch angle under these situations. It is found that the motions of yaw and roll can be decreased by increasing the blade pitch angle.
