Abstract
This paper presents a fuzzy logic based mobile intelligent system for effectively evaluating and selecting hotels. The uncertainty, subjectiveness and imprecision inherent in the human decision making process are modeled through the use of fuzzy numbers. A fuzzy relationship matrix between the characteristics of each hotel and the requirements of individual tourists is built leading to the use of a fuzzy synthetic decision model for evaluating and selecting a specific hotel in a given situation. Simulations have been conducted that show the proposed system is secure, convenient and effective for evaluating and selecting the desired hotels in real situations.
