Abstract
A fully-automated measurement system for 77-GHz mixers is presented. Power and frequency of LO signal plus up to three RF signals can accurately be configured. The RF signals are combined before being applied to the device under test (DUT) making single and dual tone measurements possible combined with the emulation of a blocking signal as important for transceiver applications. Thus, for the first time to the author´s knowledge, it is possible to gain detailed insight into the large-signal behaviour of 77-GHz mixer circuits using an integrated low-cost solution.
