Abstract :
The technology-push effect of technological innovation is illustrated as science and technology providing innovator with relative knowledge and equipment during innovation. A method for measuring the technology-push effect is put forward. We build an indicator system which reflects the science and technology stock, innovation activities and output of technological innovation. We also obtain comprehensive variables from the indicators with principle component analysis and measurement coefficient with regression analysis. The technology-push effect of Chinese large-and-medium sized enterprises´ technological innovation from 1993 to 2005 is measured with this method, and is proved rather weaker than the counterparts in some other countries, which explains why Chinese large-and-medium sized enterprises´ technological innovation is generally unsatisfactory.
