Abstract :
The Technology Toolbox (TT) is a unit deployed in the authors junior-level electrical and computer engineering curricula. The aims of the TT are to expand student´s practical knowledge of analog and digital circuits, increase their awareness of the need for life long learning, improve oral presentation skills, increase student involvement in the development and delivery of the curriculum, and increase student success in their cap-stone design projects. The processed used to implement the TT in the context of a typical core engineering class, assessment devices used, and preliminary evidence supporting its utility are presented.
