Abstract :
NOAA has operated a pulsed Doppler lidar system for more than a decade. During the period, the instrument has been used to investigate a variety of phenomena, including convection, terrain-forced and channeled flows, sea breeze evolution, aerosol climatologies, and frontal passages.
