Abstract :
It is introduced that a graph drawing system mainly composed of stepping motor, STC89C51 single chip computer and host computer. With the purpose of improving graph drawing precision, driving technology of subdivided procedure is adopted to reduce the stride angle of the stepping motor. The single chip includes the keyboard and LCD, which improve the system´s independent characters. With the communication between the single chip and host computer, this system can realize the control and analysis of the whole graph drawing process. The computer software is written by VB, the man-machine interface is very good, and it is easy and simple to handle. On the other hand, the system has stronger management functions of curve, and brings convenience for using, inquiring, updating and so on. The whole system has the following advantages: low cost, programming simple, easy to be used and maintained etc.
