Abstract :
Automatic weapon design usually makes reference to the similar design case previously. The primary principle of case based reasoning and main process of automatic weapon is presented, and a layer model for automatic weapon design case is constructed on the product function and the designer´s custom. The case library is expressed at layer and liner list format. The retrieval algorithm presented in the paper could effectively improve the searching efficiency, and the case can be saved dynamically. A method which can revise the case by inheriting the design knowledge and experience sealed in the case model are also presented. Finally, a prototype system for automatic weapon design based on case-based reasoning is set up.
