Abstract :
This paper presents a speed fluctuation reducing method for sensorless PMSM-compressor system in air-conditioners. The rotor speed and position are estimated based on model reference adaptive system (MRAS) method. A combined control method for the q-axis reference current is proposed to resolve the dilemma of conventional PI tuning problems in vector control system and reduce the speed fluctuation. Simulation and experimental results show the good performance of the proposed method.
