Abstract :
Based on the reviewing of the condensing heat recovery research and application, the disadvantages of household air-conditioner and hot water heater are pointed out, and a new energy-saving system by combining them is proposed. This new hot water /split air-conditioner combination system adopts propane (R290) as its working medium, which is an environment-friendly natural hydrogen carbon compound. The new system principle and its five running modes are presented. Performances of different running modes have been tested in the enthalpy difference lab. The experiment data demonstrated that, this new system with five running modes can meet human´s comfort requirements and domestic hot water requirements, and moreover, the performance of R290 is superior to traditional refrigerant, such as R22, and it is especially suitable for preparation of hot water. This new system is high efficiency, energy saving and environmental friendly.
