Abstract :
Optical single-sideband modulation around 15 GHz was demonstrated by using novel electrooptic LiTaO3 guided-wave modulators with the periodically domain-inverted structure. The peak modulation frequency and the modulation bandwidth were in good agreement with theoretical values.
