Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of nonlinear distortion in radio-over-fibre (RoF) systems based on an AM-AM/PM behavioural model. Simulation results show similar characteristics to measured results that have been reported. The error vector magnitude (EVM) and spectral regrowth (ACPR) are theoretically analysed and their correlationships are verified by simulation. Uncoded BER degradations are also presented.
