  • Abstract
    The specific needs to retain and communicate textured dyed material and printed fabric become imperative due to quick fashion changes. A systematic way of textile color retrieval and classification is put forward in this paper to develop an accurate and feasible textile digital color management. Firstly the system structure is discussed and then the HSV model combined with reference color table is used in the color retrieval of textile. Secondly, Bayesian network is applied to classify the samples. Thirdly the system structure incorporated with above methods is established. And then tests are carried out at the end of the paper and the simulation results have proved the effectiveness of this method. Consequently, it´s verified that the method is effective and feasible to be put into practice in color management of textile.
