  • Abstract
The main purpose of this paper is to present the useful techniques in the optimal allocation mathematical model for ecology water to the reaches of Tarim river basin. A new large-system hierarchical dynamic programming method is used to solve the optimal allocation mathematical model of ecology water in Tarim river basin. Firstly, by using dynamic programming theory, the optimal allocation model for various regions of the lower reaches of Tarim River is established, and next, a large-scale optimal allocation model for the water deliveries to the lower reaches of Tarim River based on these the optimal allocation models of regions is obtained and analyzed. Finally, by employing the famous Bellman equation, this paper solves the optimal allocation model for the water deliveries to the lower reaches of Tarim river is solved, and at the same time, reasonable allocation of water quantity for various regions of the lower reaches of Tarim river is obtained.
