Abstract :
In this paper, a wavelet-based neural network (WNN) is described for the online identification problem. An identification scheme is proposed that combines the advantages of both neural networks and wavelet decomposition technique. A learning algorithm is developed for the online identification of the nonlinear systems by WNN. The proposed algorithm has been verified through detailed simulation studies on continuous and discrete nonlinear systems.
