Abstract :
A fuzzy theory based cross-region bilateral transaction curtailment is proposed in this paper. The fuzzy curtailment set is defined, the fuzzy constraints are described, and the fuzzy optimization curtailment model is presented. This fuzzy optimization problem is solved as an unconstrained optimization one with the maximum entropy method. Test results show that the fuzzy curtailment set reduce the impact of the computational errors of the PTDF on the transaction curtailment and lead to less curtailment than does the crisp optimization model when slight violation of the operational limits is allowed, hence provide a more reasonable transaction curtailment model for the economic operation of the cross-region power market under transmission congestion conditions.
