Abstract :
Summary form only given. Rational harmonic mode-locking (RHML) has attracted wide consideration in fiber lasers in recent years, because this technique provides a possibility for ultrahigh-repetition-rate pulse generation from a low frequency driving signal. A potential usage of the RHML has also been proposed in an optical pulse storage. We take the 2nd RHML as an example and make a numeric simulation.
