Abstract :
Lots of harmful asphalt fumes would emit during the paving process, aimed at the cause of producing the asphalt fumes, a series of new smoke suppressants were designed to treat asphalt fume pollution. These smoke suppressants could form network, and the small molecular of the asphalt would be enwrapped by the network of smoke suppressants, the emission of asphalt fumes would be restrained. Through the heat weight loss experiment, the amount of fumes emitted from the modified asphalt contained 1%PE, 5%PE, 1%SBSand 5%SBS respectively was studied. The results show that: these series of new smoke suppressants could restrain the emission of asphalt fumes, with the increase of PE content, smoke suppression effect is enhanced, but, with the increase of SBS content, smoke suppression effect is decreased. Using these smoke suppressants could improve the environment around construction road, and guarantee the operator health.
