Abstract :
Starting from the theory of MT, the paper gives an introduction for the current research status quo and the systematic principle of the high precision electromagnetic frequency spectrum(MES). It puts forward a linear relation that can be regarded as between exploring depth and electromagnetic frequency in local area, which makes it feasible that the stratum resistivity corresponds to the sounding line. A multichannel observation system using a paralleled capacitor as sensor is designed hereby to explore the resistivity of the underground ledge, which overcomes the disadvantage of Volume Effect and improves the prospecting precision. The system is applied to the exploration for the coal seam and the oil and gas. From the comparison of the practical hole-drilling data, the accordance has been given out a very good result with a figure of 80% or more.
