Abstract :
Based on non-parametric data envelopment analysis (DEA) and the framework of total factor, this paper empirically measures the total-factor energy efficiency of the 25 industrial sectors in Guizhou Province with statistical data through 2005-2007. The results show that the index of total-factor energy efficiency (EE) is found fitting better to the real case than the indicators of single-factor energy intensity, the overall energy efficiency of Guizhou industrial sectors is still very low, the average energy efficiency of sectors is affected by the large proportion of low energy efficiency sectors in industry, The comprehensive technological efficiency(TE) and energy efficiency (EE) are low in most sectors, we should enhance the technological level of sectors and optimize the industry structure and resource allocation. The energy rigid demand of some high energy intensity sectors lead to the relative excess of energy input.
