Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report the generation of 110 mW of blue light at 460 nm by single pass frequency doubling of picosecond pulses emitted by an InGaAs diode master-oscillator power-amplifier (MOPA) in periodically poled KTiOPO/sub 4/ (KTP). To our knowledge this is the highest average power generated by frequency doubling diode laser radiation without the use of a resonant enhancement cavity.
