Abstract :
Earthwork calculation is correlated to the investment of land consolidation. Based on the research of the theory of Digital Topographic Model, the DTM model function and other spacial analysis functions under MapGIS are studied to confirm the earthwork. Xianglexiang project in Pingyao county of Shanxi Province was taken as a case to introduce detailed processes of earthwork calculation. Compared with traditional method, this method is feasible and reliable.
