Abstract :
2x2 high-speed optical switch based on PLZT incorporated in a fiber loop mirror is presented. Experiments show that the device has the properties of polarization-independence, cover 30nm bandwidth, over 25dB extinction ratio and a high switching speed up to 60ns.
