Abstract :
Shed tunnel belongs to a kind of heterogeneous tunnel of open cut tunnel, which has been widely used in the railway as well as highway construction. Geometrical optics method is adopted in this paper to study and present a simulation of radio waves propagation in rectangular shed tunnels. By comparing the received power under different polarization modes, frequencies and permittivities, we get some relevant conclusions that the near-field region signal in shed tunnel fade soon, and the vertical polarization radio wave propagate in the shed tunnel is greatly influenced by environment.
