Abstract :
It is quite remarkable that in building fires, many people get chocked due to the failure of evacuating timely, thus causing a huge loss of life and property. In this paper, a large number of building fire evacuation simulation examples are vividly described to introduce the study of building fire evacuation based on continuous model of FDS&EVAC. The future evacuation model will contain more behavioral details, moving towards the direction of predicting individual behavior, simulating large populations and complex features, handling the complex interrelationships among building structure, environment and human behavior.
