Abstract :
The design, fabrication and measurement of multi-arm spiral metamaterial are introduced in this paper. The parameter retrieval results and transmission measurement both validate that the multi-arm spiral resonator (SR) have a magnetic and an electric response in the lower and higher frequency regions, which provide us a more convenient way to construct the dual-band left-handed metamaterial (LHM) for more applications in future.
