Abstract :
A course in quality methods was given at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology during the spring of 1991. Since the material of the course involves not only statistical topics but topics from production engineering as well, the course was given by two instructors and jointly listed under mathematics and mechanical engineering. The authors discuss the content of the course, laboratory experiments, and student projects. Alterations in the course based on the authors´ experience and future plans are discussed
