Abstract :
In this study, a multi-criterion decision-making methodology using the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE) and Attribute Hierarchy Model (AHM) was provided to assist decision-makers in selecting the proper contractors for their projects. Firstly, the evaluating bids were discussed and indices of evaluating bids were proposed. Then, the indices of evaluating bids such as ¿ Quality standard, Construction scheme, etc¿ can be quantified with fuzzy mathematics as the indices of evaluating bids has fuzzy character, and a method for determining the weights of the indices of evaluating bids-AHM was present. Finally, an example application for selecting the proper project delivery method for an actual project is provided.
