Abstract

In this study, a multi-criterion decision-making methodology using the Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation (FCE) and Attribute Hierarchy Model (AHM) was provided to assist decision-makers in selecting the proper contractors for their projects. Firstly, the evaluating bids were discussed and indices of evaluating bids were proposed. Then, the indices of evaluating bids such as Â¿ Quality standard, Construction scheme, etcÂ¿ can be quantified with fuzzy mathematics as the indices of evaluating bids has fuzzy character, and a method for determining the weights of the indices of evaluating bids-AHM was present. Finally, an example application for selecting the proper project delivery method for an actual project is provided.
