Abstract
This article talks about the departure manager prototype. The goals of the project is to create a departure manager that allows users to better manage their own flight/ramp/gate resources, and assign pushback/CFT times to support the surface management plan. Benefits of the project would be improved operational efficiency through reduced fuel burn, reduced emissions, and reduced taxi times.
