Abstract
PZT compositions, near the morphotropic phase boundary, doped with 1 wt% of donors ions (La and Nb) and acceptor ion (Fe) were prepared by a conventional ceramic method. Aging and temperature dependence of the frequency constant, obtained after poling at room temperature, 80°C and 120°C, are presented. Increasing the poling temperature caused a decrease in the aging rate for doped ceramics. Undoped and Fe doped ceramics show a positive temperature coefficient of the frequency constant, while negative coefficients were observed for Nb and La ceramics
