Abstract :
This paper surveys conventional to modern TV tuner architectures and discuss the system level and circuit level designs of silicon tuners for mobile TV applications. It will then focus on recently developed techniques that break the trade-off between power consumption and performance (linearity or noise figure) of the silicon tuners.
