Abstract
1,3,5-Tris[ 3,5-bis(3-pyridinyl) phenyl] benzene (TPPB) was synthesized as a electron-transporting wide energy gap material. Electroluminescent (EL) efficiency of the phosphorescent device of 37.3 lm/W was achieved for blue organic light-emitting device using Iridium(III)-bis[ 2-(4,6-difluorophenyl) pyridinate-N, C2’] picolinate (FIrpic) as a dopant.
