Abstract :
A new configuration for an all-pass filter-based tunable chromatic dispersion compensator utilizing silica waveguide ring resonators having a Mach-Zehnder interferometer without a crossing point was proposed and fabricated. FSR of 24 GHz and tuning range of +/-1280 ps/nm was confirmed.
