Abstract :
A design concept approach called the transition signaling framework is introduced. Based on this framework, micropipelines become a powerful implementation medium for data flow machines. Some important circuits of a data flow machine are implemented by micropipelines such as switch, arbiter, and instruction register. The design of individual blocks of this data flow machine has been successfully simulated using VIEWlogic Workview
