Abstract :
The presentation discusses risk management in NextGen enterprise. NextGen raises the complexity bar- both from the perspectives of integration and interdependencies. NextGen rely more heavily on data flow potential benefits, but with implications for operational risks and new roles for both humans and machines. The increased data dependence makes NextGen and new generation aircraft susceptible to cyber security threats previously not considered. Just as the threat escalates, so must our view of risk and subsequent analysis and handling.
