Abstract
This paper studies the definition and properties of the belief and plausibility functions of incomplete fuzzy covering systems based on the evidence theory. A novel pair of belief and plausibility functions is defined by employing the most basic granule and the approximation operators in incomplete fuzzy covering systems. Then we study the properties of the belief and plausibility functions and discuss the properties of consistent sets.
