Abstract
A novel hardware independent real-time aerial image stabilization and mosaicking system developed for mini UAV surveillance is described. Results of the flight tests in actual surveillance conditions are presented. Comparison of the Modified Algorithm and SURF algorithm is provided. Considerations for constructing mosaics using infrared images and possible applications of space exploration are discussed.
