  • Abstract
    For the deep investigation of electron tubes simulation software is necessary to avoid high prototyping costs. The software used in this paper for analyzing a virtual cathode oscillator is the CST STUDIO SUITE™. It is based on the Finite Integration Technique (FIT) and includes a sophisticated particle in cell code. Besides the virtual cathode oscillator also other vacuum tube applications will be shown.
