Abstract :
Summary form only given.We have shown that incorporation of trivalent cations of Cr into the crystal matrix of KTiOPO/sub 4/ (KTP) induces a large cubic nonlinearity. Thus, Cr:KTP turns out to be a suitable candidate for exciting future applications such as spatial light modulation.
