Abstract :
A compact polarization splitter with three parallel waveguides using birefringent polymer materials is demonstrated. The extinction ratios are 28.2 dB and 35.8 dB for TE and TM polarizations at a 627 μm device length, respectively. Keywords: Polarization splitter, polymer, extinction ratio.
