Abstract :
In this paper we propose a framework for encryption of data transmitted through mobile computing devices based on gestures using sensors on the device such as the accelerometer or touch sensors. The feature for encoding and decoding data could be implemented as a service, and used for different kind of applications including file transfers, multimedia, and SMS. Such an application would enhance the user experience and lead to increased security for mobile based data transfers. We describe the system architecture, the algorithms used for encryption and decryption using neural nets and XOR, and present the design of an application where the inverted Z gesture is used to encrypt and decrypt text messages with the help of a bitwise XOR function.
