Abstract :
Traveling wave tube (TWT) regenerative feedback oscillators have shown promise as efficient, compact sources of terahertz (THz) regime radiation. In this paper, we present results of experimental studies of the spectral purity and stationarity of the oscillation, with particular emphasis on the transient phase following the initiation of oscillation.
