Abstract
This study examines the use of tapered periodic two dimensional edge treatments to reduce wide band edge diffraction a knife edge for the polarization parallel to the plane of incidence. The tapers were designed using the Periodic Moment Method (PMM) and then experimentally measured. The design was also numerically verified using Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) techniques.<>
