Summary form only given.Terahertz (THz) parametric oscillator (TPO) is a small-sized THz-wave source. Tunable narrow linewidth THz-wave (100-330 /spl mu/m) and idler-wave (1.067-1.075 /spl mu/m) are parametrically generated by pump wave (1.064 /spl mu/m) in LiNbO/sub 3/ crystal. However, for many practical applications, TPO output is still insufficient. In this paper, we report the more than 10 times enhancement of THz-wave output by using double-pass pumping geometry and using LiNbO/sub 3/:MgO crystal.
