Abstract :
The Institute of Electronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IECAS) is developing a 4.6% instantaneous bandwidth 17 kW CW S-band klystron for use in communication system. The designs and results of measurement of the klystrons with two types of broadband output circuits respectively are presented and discussed in the paper.
