Abstract :
The transatlantic propagation of Marconi´s 12th December 1901 wireless signal by means of ionospheric reflections in the short wave region (32 and 24 meters) are critically examined to determine whether Marconi´s later discovery of the revolutionary ´daylight wave´ of July-October 1924 might have been responsible for that epoch making event of 1901.<>
