Abstract
Since the first observation of the photorefractive effect in InP:Fe almost 20 years ago, unexpected applications have been demonstrated in the counter-propagating wave configuration. Dynamic Bragg gratings are obviously of interest in the WDM and in the microwave photonics fields and they present a potential integration on an InP substrate.
