Abstract :
The theory of granular computing has been applied in diverse field before it became evidence that granular computing is a field on its own. The success of this theory in different areas of Computer Science is the reason for increase research on the theory. In this paper, we introduce the field of Program analysis to the theory of granular computing. Y. Y Yao in his paper entitled “Granular Computing” presented three basic components and interaction of granular computing; we relate the components of Program analysis to the three basic components and interaction as well as granular structure of granular computing. The result of our work is a Granular Computing framework for Program Analysis, however this paper is only a first step towards our result hence it is titled “Towards a Granular Computing framework for Program Analysis”.
